This is the Riley’s Family’s 4th trip to this house and as always, it has been fantastic. Though the weather was mixed, this house & community offered many different options for all ages. We’ve got the opportunity over the last four years to see the kids grow up loving this place and all looking forward to their week at the beach. This year was probably the most relaxing of all. We thank you for your beautiful home. And all that it contains. This is the one week our whole family gets to share each other’s company.

The second year for many, first for some 15 adults and 11 kids. The pool and hot tub kept the kids entertained all week – the movie theater too. The spacious kitchen and bbq were wonderful. The house was so big we lost a few kids here and there! Everyone had their own space when needed. What a well maintained and beautifully decorated house. We had a wonderful and truly relaxing vacation. Thanks for the great week.

This is our 3rd time in “Paradise.” A wonderful time has been had by all once again. We ate, drank, swam, laughed, partied, played, sang, danced and relaxed in your beautiful home – since it’s our 3rd time – 2x in Paradise V & 1x in VI – we felt like we were at home here – We had such a great time spending a week together we can’t wait to do it again – Thank you for making such a cozy place for us to spend our vacation – We have such lasting memories and beautiful pictures to remind us of our beach vacation in the OBX.

The Lyon family enjoyed their 7th Annual family reunion in the Outer Banks. Paradise V was a perfect place to meet from Texas, Florida, South Carolina, and New Jersey. We shared a lot of laughs, meals and drinks, swam in the ocean, surfed, biked, walked on the beach and oh – the card games! We especially enjoyed the pool house area. As we pack to head for home, we all agree that this week flew by and we look forward to being all together again next year!

We all had a great time this entire week! We spent most of our time in this house! We didn’t want to leave! I will personally never forget the memories we made in this house and the OBX! Sept. 20th was the day we got married out on the Beach in front of the house & had all of our close family & friends here to help us celebrate! It was the best time I have ever had! Thanks for letting us share in such a wonderful home!

The house is far more spectacular than the pictures on the web. We had five families with 14 kids and two great-grandchildren coming from California, Montana, South Carolina, and New Jersey. We loved how we could all be together or have some alone time in the privacy of our beautifully decorated suites. Each night one family hosted a theme dinner that included French, Mexican, Italian, Seafood, American, and the last night “pot luck” to eat up all the wonderful food that was left. We most enjoyed being able to all sit together for dinner in one magnificent area. We didn’t have enough time to do all there was to do in the house but we surely did our best! Didn’t miss much. The movie room was a great added feature. Thank you for sharing your home.

This was the second time in your beautiful home. Once again we were 12 adults & 6 children. Everyone enjoyed your home inside & out. You have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable. The week has gone by all too fast! The children especially loved the pool & playing on the beach. The theater room was enjoyed by all, even the children taking turns with the adults. The two teenagers loved having the computer. The décor is fabulous. Thank you for sharing your great home!

The Gardner’s from KS, TX, FL & 2 families from PA – 19 in all. We have had a wonderful week with our family. We cooked every night – each family taking a day. We also held contests to rate cocktails & desserts for prizes. The view of the beach is a 10 from every window and the pool was a hit with kids. Mom & Dad suggest everyone should take morning walks on the beach “a splendid way to start the day.” We are planning our return – a new Gardner tradition has started here.

The house is beautiful and our family of 15 enjoyed. This is our 2nd time at the Lane House and we have been coming to the Outer Banks for 17 years. We like this and rate it No #1. We leave in anticipation of returning next year.

We live in Las Vegas, so this was a trek for us. And, we have to say it was one of the most beautiful locations! Our triplet boys turned 7 on 7/7/07 and wanted to celebrate with their cousins on the beach. We chose Duck and the Ritz by clicking a button on the internet and weren’t sure what we were going to find. But, this place is a dream and much more. Family drove here from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida making our sons the happiest threesome this side of the Mississippi! We can’t say enough, so in the words of our sons – “This was the best birthday EVER!”

The Aplin Family Cruise Week 2007 -- we are all saddened to be saying good-bye to your beautiful home! This week you have had guests ranging in age from 3 months to 50 years old, each person absolutely loved the house and all of its amenities! Our family had a great time here! The beach was great! We were constantly playing pool. We were swimming and stayed up late. Everybody had so much fun here! And we rocked out the karaoke machine!
